Medical reason for muscle relaxant injections

Bruxism is a condition where you grind your teeth while you are sleeping. This can cause accelerated enamel wear on your teeth and is one of the causes of jaw pain known as Temporomandibular joint pain. Muscle relaxant injections can be used to relax the masseters (responsible for chewing) to help relieve this.
