Business Manager

Hi, I’m Lisa.  I began my working career in banking but after just over three years I decided in my early days that this career path was not for me. I was lucky enough to transition into GP practice administration and reception with no experience in this field. I thoroughly loved working for GP’s and my workplace became my second family. I was lucky enough to be working with an amazing team of Doctors, Nurses and admin/reception healthcare workers.  After nearly eleven years, and when my family was able to cope with me leaving them a couple of more days, I decided to go work at SJOG Murdoch Hospital.  I have worked at this campus for over 20 years beginning as a Ward Clerk for SJOG day procedure unit and then on to working for various Specialists there. My experience working for exceptional specialist practices as a Medical Secretary up to managing two major Specialist groups as a Practice Manager. Along the way I was also studying to achieve my qualifications as a Certified Practice Manager/Business Manager.

I love working in healthcare especially when there are good outcomes for patients. My focus has always been on patient care, great customer service not just for the patient but for their families who attend with them.  I also love working with doctors on an administrative level to help them succeed in their goals and successes with their patients and medical practice.

I am a wife, mother, and a nanna to four gorgeous grandchildren, and I love being hands on with them all.  I could not imagine my life without them.  I also have four fur babies – two cats and two dogs. I love travelling this gorgeous country of ours and hope to be able to see a bit of Europe one day.

When the opportunity to work for Dr Leech came my way, I did not even think, I immediately accepted.  The Garden Family Medical Clinics’ values, patient care and vision in healthcare fits right in with my own ideals.  I feel privileged to be part of the team and look forward to building and growing with this GP clinic.
