Hi, my name is Beth, and I am a psychologist deeply passionate about understanding the complexity of family life, including the dynamics between parents, parent and child, as well as sibling relationships.

My area of special interest lies in the parenting space, supporting parents who are navigating the demands of modern family life. I am particularly passionate about helping parents who feel overwhelmed, burnt out, disconnected, or uncertain in their roles, and who wish to foster stronger, more conscious relationships with their children. I also recognise the unique challenges families face in the digital age, including managing screen time and maintaining emotional connection in a fast-paced, technology-driven world.

I draw on a psychodynamic orientation in my work, exploring the deeper emotional patterns and unconscious dynamics that influence how we think, feel, and relate to others. Alongside this reflective work, I integrate evidence-based strategies from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to support practical coping skills, emotional regulation, and meaningful change.

Throughout my career, I have worked extensively in forensic settings, supporting individuals during incarceration and through their reintegration into the community. This experience has provided me with a profound understanding of how early life experiences, attachment disruptions, and broader systemic factors can shape behaviour, emotional functioning, and coping strategies.

I work with people presenting with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, burnout, trauma, and addictions.

Ultimately, my approach is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on helping people understand themselves, their relationships, and the experiences that shape them, so they can grow and thrive.
