Dr Aminah is a Specialist GP Obstetrician with a strong passion for women’s health and comprehensive family medicine. Originally from Malaysia and raised in Vienna, Austria, she completed her medical degree at the National University of Ireland in 2011. Thereafter, she worked in Ireland where she completed her Basic Obstetrics and Gynaecology Specialist Training before moving to Perth in 2017, where she now calls home.

Dr Aminah has worked across multiple specialties including Paediatrics, Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and General Medicine, before finding her true passion in Family Medicine. Much of her GP training was completed in rural settings, which helped shape her holistic, community-focused approach to care.

She has completed the RANZCOG Associate Obstetrics Training Program (Advanced Procedural) and the FPAA Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health. Her areas of expertise include pregnancy care, contraception (including Mirena, Kyleena, Copper IUDs and Implanon insertion/removal), fertility management, menstrual concerns, menopause care, preventative medicine, children’s health, sexual health, skin conditions, and chronic disease management. She is deeply committed to providing personalised high-quality, culturally sensitive care and building long-term relationships with her patients and their families.

Outside of medicine, Aminah enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two young daughters, catching up with loved ones over brunch, listening to music, planning gatherings, and enjoying quiet walks.
