Hi, I'm Ramya. I am specialist General Practitioner with a passion for family medicine, women's health, and children's health. Originally from Country NSW, I have embraced Western Australia as my home where I graduated from the School of Medicine at The University of Notre Dame, Fremantle. Though now residing in the city, my rural upbringing remains integral to my commitment to health equity for my patients.

My clinical background includes valuable experiences at Fremantle Hospital, Princess Margaret Hospital, and King Edward Memorial Hospital. Following comprehensive general practice training in both metropolitan and rural settings, I achieved my specialist qualification: Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Additionally, I hold a Diploma in Child Health and a Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health.

Grounded in care, compassion, and diverse clinical exposure across Australia, I am dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment for all my patients. My primary focus is on preventive and community-oriented medicine, with a strong emphasis on continuity of care. Specialising in child health, antenatal care, pregnancy planning, post-natal care, contraception (including long-acting contraceptive implants), fertility, and women's health, I am passionate about promoting the well-being of individuals and families.

I have a strong interest in medical education, and I actively contribute to training the next generation of medical students and General Practitioners. Beyond my professional pursuits, my husband and I share a love for travel, while my personal interests include reading, watching movies, and attending various music and dance shows from around the world.
