Dr Emily Huck

The Garden Family Medical Clinic Piara Waters

Hi, I’m Emily.

I graduated from the University of Western Australia before working at Fremantle Hospital, Rockingham General Hospital, and Fiona Stanley Hospital for my internship and residency years.

I decided early in my career that I wanted to become a GP as I enjoy preventative medicine, being able to provide continuity of care and empowering people in their health journeys.
I enjoy all aspects of general practice and have a special interest in mental health, adolescent health care, sexual health, women’s health (including breastfeeding medicine) and paediatric health care. In addition to working in general practice, I tutor medical students at the University of Notre Dame.

I feel privileged to be able to work as a GP and truly value the trust placed in me by my patients as we work together for their health and wellbeing.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my four kids, playing music and working towards a black belt in taekwondo.
