Dr Neysan Sedaghat

The Garden Family Medical Clinic Piara Waters

FRACGP, MBBS (Chile)

Hi, I’m Neysan! I grew up in Chile, where I completed my medical degree at the Universidad de Concepción before working across a wide range of healthcare settings, particularly in emergency medicine. In 2020, I moved to Australia and spent time in Ballarat and Coffs Harbour before finding my home here in Perth.

I became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2025. I absolutely love the breadth of family medicine and feel genuinely privileged to support patients and families through every stage of life. I have a particular passion for medical education, and I am also a lecturer at the University of Western Australia, where I enjoy teaching and mentoring future doctors.

Outside of work, my wife and our two energetic and curious boys make sure life is never dull. I recharge with a good book and feel deeply inspired by being involved in the community-building efforts of my faith.
