A dedicated space where we address the unique challenges of pelvic pain with compassion, expertise, and tailored care. We understand that pelvic pain can have a significant impact on your quality of life, and our team is here to support you every step of the way.

We appreciate your patience whilst we have been setting up this brand-new initiative in conjunction with the Commonwealth Government and WAPHA. Our vision is to truly support you or your loved one, wherever you might be in your journey with pelvic pain.

When you’re ready to get started, here are the next steps:

1. Register and make initial appointment

Book your ‘screening and triage’ telephone call – Upon completion of The Screening Questionnaire you will be directed to HotDoc where you can book this appointment. 2. Screening and triage telephone consultation

We want to find out more about you! Please have ready any important details such as your current GP, any diagnosis that has been made, any specialists you have seen, names of any treatments you’ve tried. Our complimentary telehealth consultation will help our whole team understand more about you and what you would like to achieve from seeing us. This consultation is with conducted by a women’s health physiotherapist or nurse, who have had additional training in understanding the impact of endometriosis and pelvic pain on a persons’ life and how to establish a clear set of goals. We will call you for this appointment at the time of your booking, although please be aware that due to unforeseen circumstances, we may not always be able to call exactly on time. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

3. GP Connection and goal setting consultation

Following your initial screening telephone call, please contact the clinic on (08) 6186 7992 to book your 60 minute appointment with one of our trained GP’s. During this appointment, the GP will discuss your history, goals, treatment plans and make referrals to other members of the health care team as required.

Cost

$250 (Minus level D Medicare – rebate $117.40). Health Care Card and Pension Card holders will be bulk billed on Monday to Friday’s between 11am and 4pm. Follow up consultations with be billed at the discretion of the GP.

Please note – a $100 deposit is required to secure your booking. This will be credited towards the total fee on the day of your appointment. For HCC/Pension Card holders, this will be refunded on the day of your appointment. You will lose your deposit in the event of cancellation less than 2 hours prior or failure to attend your appointment.

4. Allied Health ‘pelvic support session’

A 60 minute pelvic physiotherapy session with our in-house Physiotherapist, Siobhan Lenihan to discuss goals and provide a patient centred treatment plan. The initial session is subsidised. See below for more information about Siobhan and her services.

We will help you establish treatment goals and a plan – whether it be connecting to our network of pelvic pain experts, providing education or treatment at our clinic, or providing a written action plan back to your usual GP.

Through the clinic we hope to provide you with the opportunity to connect with a range of medical, allied health and alternative medicine services including gynaecology, psychology, physiotherapy, dietetics, acupuncture, mindfulness programs, and clinical pilates. Pelvic Pain Physiotherapy Fees

Note: Pre-screening phone consultation with nurse is required prior to booking initial Pelvic Pain Physiotherapy appointment.

$50 out of pocket ($150 is subsidised by the Government grant)

45 minute pelvic health physiotherapy follow up or manual therapy
$130 (private health item code 593 / 505)

30 minute pelvic health physiotherapy follow up or manual therapy
$100 (private health item code 593 / 505

A $50 booking fee is required to secure your initial pelvic pain physiotherapy appointment. Cancellations less than 24 hours prior to appointment or non attendance incurs a $100 fee in addition to the $50 booking fee.
